StoryFlight Labs Welcomes Hannah Mormer as Vice President of Business Development

StoryFlight Labs has appointed healthcare technology executive Hannah Mormer as Vice President of Business Development, leading strategic partnerships that will expand access to Talk to Me, Goose! and Fable's Adventures across healthcare, nonprofit, and public-sector channels.

StoryFlight Labs, PBC is proud to welcome Hannah Mormer as our Vice President of Business Development. Hannah joins us at a pivotal moment – just weeks after the public benefit corporation’s April 2026 launch – to lead the partnerships and growth efforts that will expand access to our communication and storytelling platforms.

Hannah’s appointment reflects something we believe deeply: that mission-driven companies are strongest when commercial discipline and clinical understanding sit at the same table. Hannah brings both. She most recently served at Advanced Optronics, a Carnegie Mellon University spinout developing medical device technology, where she managed regulatory strategy, operations, and fundraising. Before that, her career has spanned the intersection of health care innovation clinical delivery. She has experience bringing solutions to people who need them.

What will Hannah lead?

In her new role, Hannah will oversee strategic partnerships, business development initiatives, and the broader growth work that brings StoryFlight Labs’ products into the hands — and onto the screens — of more families, clinicians, and care communities. Her focus spans:

Health Care Partnerships – expanding distribution of Talk to Me, Goose! through hospital systems, ALS clinics, and speech language pathology networks.

Nonprofit and foundation alliances – deepending relationships with the organizations that serve people living with speech-limiting conditions, so our technology reaches them at reduces or no costs

Public-sector agencies – working with government service providers to ensure assistive communication tools are not gated by ability to pay.

Why this hire, why now?

Talk to Me, Goose! is an AI-enabled text-to-speech application designed to assist people living with ALS and other speech-limiting conditions. It is available across iOS, Android, and Windows. Fable’s Adventures is our audio storytelling platform, where personalized stories meet wonder, empathy, and imagination – supported by a broader media ecosystem of podcasts, a YouTube channel, and a creator community.

Both products share a single throughline: the human need to be heard, and to hear others. Scaling that work – responsibly, equitably, and at the pace that the moment demands – requires someone who understands the needs of people living with speech-limiting conditions and the operational machinery of an early-stage startup. Hannah is that person.

Hannah’s combination of clinical experience and operational leadership aligns closely with our mission-driven focus on communication accessibility. We are thrilled to have her shaping the partnerships that will define our next chapter.
